The inital syn sends seq number mss source and dest
ports to receiver
( why not add window = size of the file to be sent ? )
receiver sends its mss and ack of window size back
.... port opens and data flows once data is all sent (
end packet has special flag to ensure window is closed
) receiving host checks for missing parts and sends
ack back with those segments it is missing
Its not really a major change of anything ... just
with the broadband we have nowdays why not do the
error checking all at once ?
