すみません、世間知らずな私に社会の常識を教えてください。

最近はこういう免責文をメールの末尾につけるのが流行り or 当然なので
しょうか？
このような免責文がついてないが故に重大な損失を被ったという事例が
あるのでしょうか？

こういうビジネス文書には当然ついていなければならないとか指針があれば
ご教授ください。
