4. Affected Components Description
==================================
SAPConsole is a component distributed by SAP, whose main responsibilities are 
connecting to, and exchanging information from within SAP systems. This 
information is usually in the form of descriptions of screen elements and their 
contents. This component is also responsible of managing the interaction 
between users and SAP screens.

5. Vulnerability Details
========================
When credentials to login to a remote SAP Server are configured in the 
Standalone SAP Console, these credentials are stored in the Windows registry in 
a clear text format. 

6. Solution
===========
Implement SAP Security Note 2121461.

==================
- 12/29/2014: Onapsis provides vulnerability information to SAP AG.
- 01/02/2015: SAP AG confirms reception of vulnerability report.
- 02/10/2015: SAP reported that the vulnerability is not a security issue.
- 03/10/2015: SAP reported fix is In Process.
- 04/14/2015: SAP reported fix is In Process.
- 05/12/2015:  SAP released SAP Security Note 2121461 fixing the vulnerability
- 09/22/2016: Onapsis Releases Security Advisory.
