Now there's a subject in my message overview that really tells me
nothing: '[Full-Disclosure] [RHSA-2004:030-01] Updated ...' (the
rest gets cut off because then the sender field begins. I vote
for completely removing the '[Full-Disclosure]' subject prefix. I
got no response from len@netsys.com so let's see what the
subscribers think.

Hi Len!
The [Full-Disclosure] subject prefix is quite long and uses a lot
of space in my message overview. I prefer something like [FD],
maybe FD: or even none at all. I guess most people sort high
volume mailing lists in separate folders so a subject prefix to
identify messages from a mailing list is useless for most users.
If this has not been discussed on full-disclosure you may want to
do that.
I'm not sure if your version of mailman allows editing the
subject prefix. Recent versions do.
