Putting all extortion circumstances aside in the above story,
The last thing it says is ...
"a fine of $250,000 for threats to damage computers"
I am curious to see what the current properity damage laws there
as opposed to just threating to damage properity. Wouldn't threating
to damage computers fall under something like harrasment ?
