Summary:  ESRS VE version 3.06  contains security fixes for multiple 
vulnerabilities that could potentially be exploited by malicious uses to 
compromise the affected system

Details: 

ESRS VE version 3.06 includes updates to address the following security 
vulnerabilities:

1.      Insufficient Certificate Validation (CVE-2015-0543)

ESRS VE does not properly validate certificates. Malicious users could 
potentially exploit this vulnerability to spoof trusted entities by using 
man-in-the-middle attacks.

CVSSv2 Base Score: 5.8 (AV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:N)

2.      Cookie Generated with Insufficient Randomness (CVE-2015-0544)

Session cookie used by ESRS VE is generated using insufficient random values. 
Malicious users could potentially exploit this vulnerability to gain 
unauthorized access to authenticated ESRS interfaces.

Resolution: 
The following ESRS VE release contains resolutions to these vulnerabilities:
