Summary:
RSA Certificate Manager (RCM) / Registration Manager (RRM) announce security
fixes to address potential multiple vulnerabilities.
Details:
RSA Certificate Manager (RCM) / Registration Manager (RRM) may be susceptible
to the following vulnerabilities:
?Apache HTTP Server Embedded Component Vulnerability (CVE-2014-0231):
The mod_cgid module in the Apache HTTP Server before 2.4.10 does not have a
timeout mechanism, that potentially allows remote attackers to cause a denial
of service (process hang) via a request to a CGI script that does not read from
its stdin file descriptor.
See http://web.nvd.nist.gov/view/vuln/detail?vulnId=CVE-2014-0231 for more
details.
CVSS v2 Base Score: 5.0 (AV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:N/I:N/A:P)
?Stored Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability (CVE-2015-0521):
A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability affecting the CMP shared secret
parameter could potentially be exploited by a remote authenticated attacker to
execute arbitrary HTML and script code in RCM users browser session.
CVSS v2 Base Score: 6.5 (AV:N/AC:L/Au:S/C:P/I:P/A:P)
?Stored Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability (CVE-2015-0522):
A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability affecting the email address
parameter could potentially be exploited by a remote unauthenticated attacker
to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in RCM users browser session.
CVSS v2 Base Score: 7.5 (AV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:P/A:P)
?Denial of Service Vulnerability (CVE-2015-0523):
A denial of service vulnerability affecting the Administration Server could
potentially be exploited by a remote unauthenticated attacker by sending an
invalid multi-part message.
CVSS v2 Base Score: 7.8 (AV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:N/I:N/A:C)
Recommendation:
The following product versions contain the resolution to these issues:
?RSA Certificate Manager 6.9 Build 558 or later
?RSA Registration Manager 6.9 Build 558 or later
RSA recommends all customers upgrade to the versions listed above at the
earliest opportunity.
