Summary:

EMC CTA (formerly EMC FMA) contains a vulnerability that could potentially 
allow unauthorized administrative access to the affected system.


Details:

The vulnerability could allow an unauthorized user to log in to the affected 
system as a GUI user with full administrative privileges by providing 
specifically crafted malicious file during authentication process.


Resolution:

The following products contain a resolution to this issue: 

CTA 7.5 and 9.0 with Hotfix ESA-2012-034
CTA 7.3.1 and later with Hotfix ESA-2012-034

Older versions of CTA code will have to be upgraded first to CTA 7.3.1 and 
later or CTA 7.5 and later to apply the hotfix. For the workaround information
